JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 6, 2026) – College teams are making their way to Jacksonville, Florida and trading in the sunshine for slap shots as they prepare for the 2026 AAU Collegiate Hockey National Championships. The ice is prepped and teams are ready to compete for one ultimate goal – taking home an AAU National Championship.
For the second year, the AAU Collegiate Hockey National Championships are being hosted in the south at the Community First Igloo in Jacksonville. College hockey teams from all over the country are preparing to get pucks on net and showcase their stick skills on the way to an AAU trophy.
Thirty-seven (37) teams in total will take to the ice throughout the tournament. Teams will be split into three divisions: Men’s Division 2, Men’s Division 3, and Women’s Division. Men’s Division 2 will be the first to see puck drop with games starting at 11:00 am on Friday, March 6. The Women’s Division starts pool play on March 7 with Men’s Division 3 taking over the ice on March 11. To see the full schedule breakdown, click here.
The Igloo features two rinks that will see competition all day throughout the event. The University of Delaware will face off against SUNY – Cortland to get things started in this year’s tournament. Community First Igloo is also the home for amateur hockey leagues, ice skating clubs, and university-level competition. This year sees returning teams and brand new colleges looking to make new memories that will last a lifetime.
