Open Optional Division, Levels 7 and up, Diamond and Sapphire. No qualification required. Athletes need to have participated in an AAU event prior to competing at AAU Junior Olympic Games.

National Team Members:
Levels 1–6, Xcel Copper–Platinum, Boys 4x4, and Special Stars athletes may qualify to the AAU Junior Olympic Games by earning a position as an AAU National Team Member at AAU Nationals. Gymnasts registered for AAU Nationals who achieve a Top 10 placement on each individual event and/or All-Around, per level, per session, will be identified as members of the AAU National Team.

To be eligible for the AAU Junior Olympic Games, athletes in these divisions must have qualified to AAU Nationals through prior AAU participation. These divisions are not open to athletes without prior AAU participation and qualification to AAU Nationals.
