FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 13, 2026) – The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is proud to announce the 2026 AAU National Diving Championships will be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, bringing together hundreds of the most promising young divers from around the nation for a week of high-level competition.

The AAU National Diving Championships will take place from July 16th through July 23rd at the renowned Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center. The event serves as the premier national showcase for amateur diving talent, featuring competition across multiple age groups and dive specialties, including 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform events.

"The AAU National Diving Championships represent the culmination of a year of hard work and dedication for these young athletes," said Lewis Fellinger, AAU Diving National Chair. "Fort Lauderdale has a rich history in aquatic sports, and we are thrilled to bring our national event to such an exceptional facility. We anticipate fierce competition and the setting of new personal bests as divers vie for national titles."

Event Highlights

●    Who: Over 700 of the best young amateur divers from across the United States.
●    What: The 2026 AAU National Diving Championships.

●    Where: Fort Lauderdale Aquatics Complex, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
●    Events: Competition in 1-meter, 3-meter springboard, and platform diving across various age categories, typically ranging from 9 & Under through 18 & Over.

The event is open to the public, offering spectators a chance to witness future Olympic hopefuls. Daily admission and weekly passes will be available for purchase at the venue.
