Team Trial Competition Format
The Tumbling / Trampoline / Double Mini Team Trial Competition will be conducted as an Open Age, Co-Ed competition.

National Team Eligibility & Selection

AAU Senior National Team
Levels: Intermediate and Above
Selection: Top 3 athletes per level, per event (Co-Ed)

AAU Junior National Team
Levels: Novice and Below
Selection: Top 2 athletes per level, per event (Co-Ed)

Competition Requirement for Selected Athletes

1. Current Member of the AAU

2. Must have competed in an AAU TNT competition prior to the National Championships & Junior Olympic Games.

3. Team Trial Format

A) Tumbling /Trampoline/ Double-Mini

B) Open Age Group

C) Boys Division / Girls Division – (will not be Co-Ed)

D) Top 1 athlete if 1 - 14 competitors

     Top 2 athletes 15 – 24 competitors

     Top 3 athletes 25 + competitors

E) Per level, Per Event

F) Must meet pass requirement to make the team.

4.  Apparel – Selected Team Members will be provided a National Team Leotard or Step-in & shorts. Warm ups and apparel will be available for purchase.  

5.  Athletes selected for the AAU National Team must compete at the 2027 AAU Junior Olympic Games Trampoline & Tumbling competition in Houston, Texas

6. The scores from the 2026 National Championships in Knoxville and the 2026 Junior Olympics prelims in Des Moines, Iowa will determine the National Team selection.  The higher of the 2 scores will be used.
